PWAR’s Online Election
The Election of Directors/Officers for 2009 is LIVE! This election will be held primarily online this year since members approved bylaws changes to allow all-electronic voting. The online election began August 15th and ends September 8th. Anyone wishing to cast a ballot in person may do so at the September 10th Membership Meeting and Elections. Polls will be open from 8:00 am-9:00 am at the Old Hickory Gold Club. Election results will be announced on September 10. Eligible PWAR members received an email from PWAR by August 15th with instructions on how to cast their online ballot. The process is simple and quick. Contact PWAR if you do not receive your electronic ballot or if it was caught in your SPAM filter. The system is secure and conducted by a third party election company. PWAR staff may give you your login information over the phone with appropriate security verification.You may request a written ballot be sent to you. It is the responsibility of PWAR members to maintain an accurate/active email address on file at PWAR. But PWAR will make every attempt to mail a ballot to any bounced emails.
