Handling Awkward Representations
Speaker: Lem Marshall
This course will discuss the different ways people own property, including the unique way men and women individually own property and the sea-change in the early ‘90’s that is having a profound effect on our clients. You will look at the unique (and similar) problems that arise from representing divorcing couples, estates and debtors in bankruptcy.
You will also look closely at the issue of equitable title as it comes into play in all three cases, the special problems of multiple conflicts of interest, and tips on how to do these representations successfully. Register online
PWAR Meets RPAC Fair Share Goal
PWAR has met its $41,000 RPAC Fundraising Fair Share goal for 2010.
The effort was successfully led by Forrest Odend’hal (Pres-Elect) and Kathleen Kennedy (Director).
The Fair Share goal is calculated by asking $25 of each member. But many gave more….much more.
See the entire list of Major Contributors THANKS to all who contributed and made this goal a reality,” said Forrest Odend’hal.
The Major Contributors celebrated with a Champagne and Chocolate reception with the local Senator, Delegates, and County Supervisors.
RPAC is an important function of the association and allows the REALTORS® message to be heard by our representatives. Please consider marking your upcoming dues invoice with a voluntary contribution to RPAC.
Thanks goes out to all the volunteers to help organize the event including Ronnie Fruehauf on camera and John and Diana Pagan as bartenders.
